Join us at our community space in Jurong Central Park. Here, with the support of the National Parks Board (NParks), Foodscape Collective has an ongoing initiative where we and local residents work together in piloting ideas for a biodiverse edible garden. At the garden, we practice regenerative ways to grow food, grow the health of the soil, increase biodiversity, use potentially wasted food and garden trimmings to create compost, mitigate climate change and more. We also practice collective leadership, with a shared understanding of guiding principles. 30-min sharing sessions are organised for Tuesday and Saturday mornings for the duration of the festival. During your visit, your guide will be happy to share with you about the plants - and more importantly, the insights, knowledge and community that has evolved in the process of nurturing this garden space together. Hope to see you! show less
Foodscape Collective is a community-focused network, transitioning into a network of people, groups and businesses. The network works with local / regional communities to work towards a fair and inclusive circular food system for all through four inter-connecting pods: well-being, community building, education and research.
